Small Business Success

Full Circle
4 Winds Tipis
As well as our own successes, we also like to share in the successes of our clients. Two of our local clients commissioned Magic Beans to create them a fantastic new website. Both of the websites were published this year and have had unbelievable success.

Full Circle requested a website for their business, in offering luxury Yurt holidays within the Lake District. Within their first year of business they had an excellent response, with bookings continuing throughout the summer and advanced bookings in 2008. We made a great effort to push them into Google, giving them an instant response to their website. See their site at www.lake-district-yurts.co.uk.

4 Winds Lakeland Tipis requested us to revamp their current website, as a lack of activity was damning their business. We responded quickly, and presented them with a fresh and interesting website which, added depth and activity. They were instantly happy with the response to our work. The new website responded better to the Google Search Engines and they saw an instantaneous reflection to the levels of calls they were getting. See their site at www.4windslakelandtipis.co.uk.

Flashtastic
- 10.04.07
The Events House
See what cool new things we are doing with Flash technology. In the past we have used Flash for basic animations and simple buttons on our web pages. More recently, we have been implementing a greater use of Flash capabilities.

Although we don’t create full Flash sites, because of its inability to integrate with Google Search Spiders, we have been able to introduce miniature Flash elements, harnessing both technologies to create awesome motion and effectiveness in the marketplace.

Jack and the Beanstalk, in short with alternate ending
Jack was a poor boy who lived with his widowed mother. They often had to struggle to get food on the table. One day Jack’s mother asked Jack to sell their cow, one of their few remaining possessions. He took the cow to the butchers and the butcher refused to pay for the cow in money and would only trade him some brightly, multicolour beans. With no other choice, as hunger took hold of him, he exchanged the cow for the beans. When Jack got home he showed the beans to his mother, who screamed at him for his foolish exchange and tossed the beans out of the window into the garden. The very next day, Jack awoke to the biggest surprise, as for in his garden stood a beanstalk, the biggest beanstalk he did ever see. It was surly, a giant beanstalk. He immediately decided to climb to the top, it went up into the clouds, which is where it finally ended and left him looking over a vast kingdom within the clouds. In the distance he saw a gigantic castle and decided to go and explore it. Upon entering the castle, he was amazed to find it was in enormous proportions and made not for any human. As he wondered through this alien home, he wondered what sort of creature he might stumble upon. To his shock he found a Giant, luckily for him, the Giant was sleeping. Next to the Giant lay a golden harp and a goose. Like the little scamp he was, he decided to swag these possessions, which obviously belonged to the Giant. Very quietly, Jack took the goose and the harp and made a run for it. He was only half way to the entrance of the Giant’s house when he herd an almighty raw, alarmed, Jack quicken his pace and ran as fast as he could towards the beanstalk. The Giant saw Jack with the goose and harp and ran after him. Jack’s heart was racing, he climbed down the beanstalk as fast as his arms and legs would carry him. The Giant was gaining. When Jack reached the bottom he thought he must do something or the Giant would kill him for stealing his things and most likely kill the rest of the town. He quickly scrambled to his garden shed and found some extra strong weed killer. As fast as he could he doused as much of the stalk as he could. As if by magic or science the beanstalk turned brown and started to decay as fast as it had grew. The Giant had not a hope in hell, as the beanstalk disintegrated, like a swatted moth, before him. Fell, he did, to his doom. So Giant, the Giant was, that he fell and squashed the town anyway…

The moral of this story is, horticulture can be dangerous for you health!
